Crime Stoppers is a completely anonymous program and we are not attached to the RCMP in any way. We work in association with the public, the media, and the police to solve crime and make Kamloops a safer place to live. Remember, we want your information and not your name!
The Kamloops Program is regionalized so we take Tips for 14 other communities including Revelstoke, Valemount, Clearwater, Barriere, 100 Mile House, Clinton, Cache Creek, Ashcroft, Lillooet, Lytton, Logan Lake, Chase, Kamloops Rural and Merritt. Many people have come to trust our organization 100% and they do not hesitate to share criminal information with us. They do so with a guarantee of complete anonymity and if they wish, they are also entitled to a good reward depending on an arrest and the seriousness of the matter. Thieves Target Electronic Store Andres Audiotronic Store in the Landsdowne St. Mall was targeted by thieves sometime overnight on Tuesday May 8th, when the employees came to work they discovered the break and enter. The suspects broke into a vacant store beside Andres, then cut a hole in the drywall, giving access in to Andres. The thieves knew what they wanted and only took a large number of Apple "I Phones". The RCMP forensic unit seized some evidence at the scene that will be useful in convicting the suspects. There is no doubt these phones will be resold, the public should be aware it is a Criminal Code offence when you buy stolen property. All the serial numbers have been recorded by the police as well as Telus and will be monitored if they are activated. If you have any information on this break and enter or know who may have phones for sale, please contact Crime Stoppers, only your information will be used never your name. |
