Arson 2011-10-17

Arson Hits Two Vehicles

In the early morning of Sunday October 16th at approximately 1:30 am two vehicles were set on fire on the 1400 block of River St. The first vehicle was a 1993 Black YJ Jeep with a soft top; the second vehicle was a white Dodge Caravan. The suspect had lit a fire inside of the Jeep and took the Jeep out of gear and rolled it into the Van. The Jeep was completely destroyed by fire, the fire then spread to the front of the Van before it was brought under control by the Fire Department.

The suspect obviously wanted to cause as much damage to the vehicles as possible by running one vehicle into another. This appears to be a random act as the owners of the vehicles have no idea who would have caused this damage.

If you have any information on this arson, please contact Crime Stoppers, you will remain anonymous and will receive a cash reward upon the arrest of the suspect.
