Graffiti 2010-04-26

Graffiti is Vandalism

Graffiti is Vandalism plain and simple, when you spray paint or use a grease pencil to deface any surface without the owner's permission, it is illegal. I am sure the vandals would not let the public into their own homes and spray paint their personal property! Theses vandals have started to spray paint the fire hydrants silver, this is now a safety issuse when the Fire Department can not locate the hydrants quickly. Parents, it is time to ask your children why they have cans of spray paint in their backpacks. If you do not want to call the police, call Crime Stoppers or send a Web Tip.

It is time to catch these vandals and save the City the cost of clean up, the money could be used for other City programs that need the funding.

If you have information on any of these Graffiti vandals, please contact Crime Stoppers, you will remain anonymous and only your information will be used, never your name!
