Armed Robbery At Pawn Shop On Thursday July 22nd 2010 shortly after 5:00 pm 3 males entered the National Pawn Mart on the 200 block of Tranquille rd.and robbed the store when one of the males pointed a black handgun at the store owner. The owner was tied up and removed from the area, the other two males proceed to take various types of jewelry, including necklaces,bracelets and rings. The males were not in the store very long and left with the owner's wife vehicle. The males were wearing dark clothing and were wearing masks as well as they had hoodies pulled up to cover their faces. The victim's vehicle was recovered a short time later in the area of Royal Ave and Palm St., no one was around the vehicle. Kamloops RCMP Forensic Unit has recovered physical evidence at the scene as well as from the vehicle.
